JXTA and Web Services

A survey of recent online articles reveals a growing interest in comparing Web Services to the peer-to-peer (P2P) technology JXTA. Within this body of literature, conflicting opinions as to the relationship between these two developing technologies are given including the following: JXTA complements Web Services, JXTA extends Web Services, JXTA supersedes Web Services, and JXTA and Web Services will converge. This document provides the reader with links to relevant articles which may be useful in considering design issues.
